I'm Guillaume B., based near Geneva. I lead product for an international organisation by day, and run a self-hosted AI lab by night, where I build and break systems to understand them from the inside. Independent consulting is where the two meet: observability and AI strategy, with advice you can hold me to and delivery that reaches the code.

- AI strategy, grounded: scoped, human-in-the-loop, measurable. Where AI earns its place and where it doesn't. No magic-box theatre.
- Close to the work: I read the code, the dashboards and the tickets, not just the roadmap. Clear priorities, honest trade-offs, a backlog you can defend.
What I'm digging into
- Self-hosted AI memory: embeddings and retrieval I can inspect, version and visualise.
- Local-first inference: real models on one consumer GPU, and the latency / VRAM / quality trade-offs.
- Observability for AI systems: metrics, SLOs and live maps, so a running system can be reasoned about.
- Human-AI interaction: gesture control, 3D visualisation, interfaces you can reach into.
